Should I submit an initial investment for Custom Portfolio?

You don’t have to make an initial investment to select stocks for your Custom Portfolio, but we can’t buy the stocks you want until you make a new investment (one-time investments, Round-Ups®, and Recurring Investments). Once you make that new investment, it’ll trigger a stock purchase to bring you closer to your set allocation.
