Why can't I withdraw from my Emergency Fund account?

You can only withdraw funds from your Emergency Fund account to your Acorns Checking account. At this time, you’re not able to withdraw directly from your Emergency Fund account to your bank account. 

If your Acorns Checking account is locked, you won’t be able to transfer funds in or out of your Emergency Fund account. This is to protect you and your money in case of fraud or suspicious activity.

Here's how to withdraw funds from your Emergency Fund account to Acorns Checking:

From your Acorns app:

1. Log in to Acorns and tap “Emergency Fund”
2. Tap “Withdraw”
3. Enter the amount and confirm

From acorns.com:

1. Log in to Acorns and click “Emergency Fund”
2. Click “Withdraw”
3. Enter the amount and confirm

All transfers from your Emergency Fund account to Acorns Checking will happen instantly.
