Why am I unable to sign up for an Emergency Fund account?

In order to open an Emergency Fund account, you must:

  1. have an open, unlocked Acorns Checking account; and
  2. have direct deposit set up and have received at least one successful direct deposit into your Acorns Checking account

If your Acorns Checking account is locked/closed, please contact our Support Team and we will be able to assist further!
