How to view the amount of friends you’ve referred:

You can view how many referrals you have pending and completed from either the app or from our webpage view at app.acorns.com. 

 

App Version

  1. Tap the avatar icon at the top left hand corner
  2. Tap ‘Invite Friends’
  3. Tap ‘Your invite history’ toward the bottom of your screen

Webpage View (app.acorns.com)

  1. Tap the avatar icon at the top right hand corner
  2. Tap ‘Invite Friends’
  3. Tap the clock symbol toward the top right hand corner next to the question mark symbol

Website View (www.acorns.com)

  1. Click on the avatar icon at the top right hand corner
  2. Click on ‘Invite Friends’
  3. Click on ‘Invite History’

From here, you will see the amount you've received in referral rewards, number of completed referrals, and number of pending referrals.

Referral Statuses

Pending: This status refers to any of your friends who've used your referral link to sign up for an Acorns account. The following requirements must be met in order for your referral to be completed:

  • Use your referral link to sign up as new Acorns customer 
  • Have their account approved
  • Make a successful investment from his or her connected primary checking account (Investments take up to 5 business days to settle.)
  • Both you and your referrals account must be in good standing at the time the reward is issued

Completed: This status confirms that your friend has completed all of the referral requirements in order to receive the referral reward.

Where's my Referral Bonus? 

We offer referral bonuses when you refer a certain number of friends during the referral promotional period. You can view current information on them under the ‘Invite Friends’ section in your account.

In order to be eligible for our referral bonuses, the following requirements must be met for each one of the required number of friends you need to refer:

  1. Use your referral link to sign up during the promotional period as a new Acorns customer 
  2. Have their account approved and verified during the promotional period
  3. Make a successful investment that fully settles within 14 days after the promotional period ends. (Investments take up to 5 business days to settle. Investments that result in a chargeback do not qualify as successful investments)
  4. Both you and your referrals account must be in good standing at the time the reward is issued

Referral bonuses are paid out within 30 days once Acorns verifies all eligibility requirements have been met.
