If you don’t want to hold BITO, please understand that opting out of BITO will result in the liquidation (sale) of your BITO holdings. The proceeds will be re-invested in your remaining ETFs. In other words, this isn’t a withdrawal from Acorns to your linked primary checking account. This may be a taxable event.

If you wish to continue, here's how to remove the Bitcoin-linked ETF (BITO) from your portfolio:

  1. After logging in to your account, tap or click on "Invest"
  2. Tap or click on "Portfolio"
  3. Swipe left to tap or click on "Bitcoin Strategy" and see the fund details
  4. Scroll towards the bottom
  5. Tap or click on "Remove from portfolio"
  6. Tap or click on "Remove" for confirmation
  7. Tap or click on "Done"
