If you have allocated a portion of your Acorns Invest account to a Bitcoin-linked ETF (BITO), here’s how it works.

After you confirm this allocation, future investments you make to your Acorns Invest account (e.g., Round-Ups®, Recurring Investments) will contribute to your target Bitcoin-linked ETF percentage.

If you don’t reach your target by mid-month, we’ll help you reach it by rebalancing your portfolio, meaning we’ll buy and sell some investments to help you stay on track.

Please note, that you aren't buying Bitcoin tokens from Acorns directly.

Acorns’ offering of a Bitcoin-linked ETF allows investors an opportunity to gain exposure to Bitcoin returns in a convenient, liquid, and transparent way. The fund seeks to provide capital appreciation primarily through managed exposure to Bitcoin futures contracts. This diversity in your portfolio can help you weather market bumps long-term.
