You can link your Acorns Checking account to Venmo with your Acorns Checking account and routing number or by using your Acorns Visa™ debit card information.

Acorns Checking is not compatible with Zelle.

Linking your Acorns Checking account to Venmo

Here's how to link your Acorns Checking account to Venmo::

1. Sign in to your Venmo account
2. Go to your settings
3. Tap "Payment Methods"
4. Tap "Add a bank or card"
5. Tap "Checking"
6. Tap "Manual Verification"
7. Add your Acorns Checking routing and account numbers

Verifying your Acorns Checking account in Venmo

Once you link your Acorns Checking account, Venmo will send two small deposits to your Acorns Checking account to verify. You should see the two deposits 1-3 business days. 

Here's how to verify the two small deposits:

1. Sign back into your Venmo account
2. Go to your settings then tap "Payment Methods"
3. Tap on your Acorns Checking account
4. Tap "Verify"
5. Enter the two amounts you received
6. Tap "Verify"

After completing those steps, your Acorns Checking account should be linked and verified with your Venmo account.
