What is Early Payday?

When you set up direct deposit for your Acorns Checking account, you may be able to receive your paycheck up to two days earlier than your scheduled payday!

When your employer submits the payroll file for your paycheck, the Federal Reserve will provide this information to Acorns. This information may be sent to us up to two days in advance of your pay date, depending on your employer’s submission schedule. Once received, Acorns will make your funds available.

We may also receive notice of payment for other types of deposits such as social security benefits, tax returns, etc. However, please keep in mind that receiving any direct deposit earlier than the scheduled payout date is dependent on the timing of the employer/payer.
