Do I have to request a new Acorns debit card if it's about to expire?

Most expiring cards will automatically be reissued.

If you haven't used your Acorns debit card in the last 90 days, a new debit card won’t be automatically sent. You will need to request a new card from your Acorns account.If you don’t request a new debit card, your Acorns Checking account will be closed at the end of the expiration month. Here's how to request a replacement:

From your Acorns app:

  1. Log in to Acorns and tap “Checking”
  2. Tap the gear icon in the upper right corner
  3. Tap “Replace card”
  4. Follow the prompts to request a new card

From acorns.com:

  1. Log in to Acorns and tap “Checking”
  2. Tap the gear icon in the upper right corner
  3. Tap “Replace card”
  4. Follow the prompts to request a new card
