  • Paycheck split: Invest a piece of each paycheck automatically.
  • Early payday: Get paid up to 2 days earlier with direct deposit.

How do Real-Time Round-Ups® work?

Whenever you swipe your Acorns Visa™ debit card, we'll round up your purchase and transfer that spare change from your Acorns Checking account into your Acorns Invest portfolio.

Rather than waiting until your spare change has added up to at least $5 (which is how it works with regular Round-Ups®), you'll just have to wait for the stock market to be open so we can get your money invested.

Getting your spare change invested faster means it has even more time in the market — and the more time your money has in the market, the more opportunity it has to grow.

Real-Time Round-Ups® is only available if you have both an active Acorns Checking account and an active Acorns Invest account. If you'd prefer to review your investments before we invest your spare change, you can choose to set your Real-Time Round-Ups® to "manual."
