If you've forgotten your password, you can change or reset it any time with our Forgot Password tool.
- From the log in screen in your Acorns app or on acorns.com, tap "Forgot Password?"
- Enter in your email address and tap "Send Email"
- You'll get a "Reset your Acorns password" email in your inbox. Open up that email and tap "Change my password"
- Enter in the requested information and tap "Change Password"
If you don't receive the password reset email in your inbox, check your spam folder. If you still didn't receive the email, please contact us for help. You may need to verify some personal information for your security.
Or, if you know your current password and would like to change it, here's how:
From your the Acorns app:
- From your home screen, tap the profile icon in the top left corner
- Tap "Settings"
- Tap "Change Password" and follow the prompts
From acorns.com:
- From your home page, click "Profile & Settings" in the bottom left corner
- Scroll down to "Security" and click "Change Password"
- Follow the prompts to finalize your changes
