You can change or reset your password at any time by using our Forgot Password tool.
- Tap "Forgot Password?" from the log in screen
- Enter in your email address and tap "Send Email"
- Open the Reset Password email in your inbox*, and tap "Change My Password"
- Enter in the requested information and tap "Change Password"
*If you did not receive the password reset email in your inbox, please first check your spam folder. If you still did not receive the email, please contact Support for additional assistance. Please NOTE - for your security, you will need to verify some personal information.
If you know your current password and would like to change it, complete the following steps:
Within the Acorns App:
- After logging in to your account, tap the menu (avatar) in the upper left corner of the screen
- Tap "Settings"
- Tap "Change Password" and follow the prompts to finalize your changes
- After logging in to your account, click on the menu (avatar) in the upper right corner of the screen
- Click on "Profile & Settings"
- Scroll down, click on "Change Password" and follow the prompts to finalize your changes
