What is 'MFA Not Supported'?

The "MFA Not Supported" message usually means that your bank may have security features enabled that Acorns does not currently support. Acorns can’t make recommendations to change or disable security settings with your online banking account. These security settings may prevent us from successfully rounding up your purchases. If you choose to disable these settings, you'll want to log in to your bank account from a desktop or laptop computer. This is to make sure your changes are successfully completed.

Next, log in to your Acorns account, and complete the following steps to link your Round-Ups® account:

  1. Click on "Profile & Settings" in the lower-left corner of the screen
  2. Under "Personal Settings," click on "Linked Accounts"
  3. Click on "Link another account"
  4. Search for your bank and connect using your online banking credentials
