Real-Time Round-Ups® are a special feature for those with Acorns Visa™ debit cards — when you buy something with your Acorns Visa™ debit card, we'll round up your transaction to the nearest dollar and transfer the spare change from your Acorns Checking account to your Invest account as soon as the purchase clears.  

We call it Real-Time Round-Ups® because you don't have to wait for your change to add up to $5 to be invested. Instead, it gets more time in the market.
