Do I have to be an Acorns Invest customer to start an Acorns Later account?

If you’re a new customer, you’ll be able to sign up for our most popular subscription tier, Acorns Personal. This includes Acorns Invest, Later, and Acorns Checking. Acorns is designed as a system that helps you save, invest, earn and grow the most when you use all of our automated tools together — from Round-Ups® to Acorns Earn and Acorns Later!

Current Acorns Invest customers can easily upgrade their subscription to include Acorns Later. Here are the steps:

For Mobile:

1. After logging in to your account, tap the menu (avatar) in the upper left corner of the screen
2. Tap 'Settings'
3. Tap 'My Subscription'
4. Scroll down to 'Manage Subscription'
5. Tap 'Change tier'
6. Swipe left to select the Personal tier
7. Tap 'Upgrade'

For Web:

1. After logging in to your account, click on the menu (avatar) in the upper right corner of the screen
2. Click on 'Profile & Settings'
3. Click on 'My Subscription'
4. Scroll down to 'Manage'
5. Click 'Change Tier'
6. Tap 'Upgrade' under the Personal Tier
