Can I receive a check for my withdrawal?

Thanks for checking. While we don’t mail paper checks for withdrawals, it’s easy to change your primary checking account if you need your withdrawal transferred to a different bank.

Here's how to change your primary checking account:

From your Acorns app:

  1. Log into your account
  2. Tap the profile icon in the top left corner of the screen
  3. Tap "Settings"
  4. Tap "Linked Accounts"
  5. Tap "..." in the upper right corner and tap "Change primary account"
  6. Type "123" in the search bar and tap "Don't see your bank?"
  7. Enter your routing number and account number and tap "Link Account"

From acorns.com::

  1. Log into your account
  2. Click on "Profile & Settings" in the lower-left corner of the screen
  3. Under "Personal Settings," click on "Linked Accounts"
  4. Click on "Change primary"
  5. Click on "Link Manually"
  6. Enter your routing number and account number and tap "Link Account"

For your security, we might need you to upload documents showing you own both your current and new primary checking accounts. If this is the case, we’ll email you with instructions.
