How do I activate my Acorns Visa™ debit card?

To activate your Acorns Visa™ debit card, check your Acorns app when your card is delivered. You'll get an in-app notification to activate your card so you can start investing spare change with every swipe.

If you can't find the activation notification in your app, you can also activate your card here, or you can follow these steps:

1. Log into your account from your Acorns app
2. From your home screen, tap "Checking"
3. Tap the gear icon in the top right corner
4. Tap "Activate Debit Card"
5. Read the Terms & Conditions
6. Once you have agreed to the Terms & Conditions, tap "Accept and Continue"
7. Type in the last four digits of your card number. You can find these on the back of your Acorns debit card. Then tap "Set Debit Card Pin"
8. Set your PIN and tap "Card Features"
9. Retype your PIN for confirmation and tap "Activate Debit Card"

Heads up –  some iOS users can add your debit card to your digital wallet once your Acorns Checking account is approved and money is added! With your Acorns Visa™ digital debit card, you'll have immediate access to your money in your checking account, even before your physical card arrives. Keep an eye on your app to see if you have access! For Android users, don’t worry—digital cards will be coming your way soon.
