Acorns does not currently provide physical checks or checkbooks for Acorns Checking accounts. Additionally, please note that ordering a checkbook using your Acorns account & routing number will not work; however, our Send Check feature allows you to send a physical check via USPS to the desired recipient through the Acorns app and web app.
To send a check, follow the steps below:
For Mobile:
- After logging in to your account, tap 'Checking'
- Tap 'Checks'
- Tap 'Send check'
- Tap 'Get started'
- Enter the amount of the check and tap 'Next'
- Tap 'Add Recipient'
- Choose Individual or Business, enter the required information and tap 'Confirm'
- Tap 'Send Check' in the green bubble at the bottom of the screen
For Web:
- After logging in to your account, click on 'Checking'
- Click on 'Send Check'
- Click on 'Get started'
- Enter the amount of the check
- Click on 'Add Recipient'
- Choose Individual or Business, enter the required information and click on 'Confirm'
- Click on 'Send Check' in the green bubble at the bottom of the screen
