Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is a good way to help protect your information. Once you set up 2FA, you'll be sent a verification code every time you log in with your email. Using your PIN or Face ID in-app won't activate 2FA.
Here’s how to turn on Two-factor Authentication:
-
After logging in to your account, tap or click on the profile icon on the left side of the screen
-
Tap "Settings" or click on "Profile & Settings"
-
Tap or click on "Personal info"
-
Under Contact Info, you should notice an "unverified" alert, tap or click on the sign
-
Confirm your contact Info is correct
-
You will then be prompted to select the 'Next' button to enter the verification process
-
Two-Factor Authentication will send a 6-digit code to your mobile device. Once you receive the code, input it into the alert in-app
-
Two-Factor Authentication verification is now complete! The alert next to your Contact Info should now be "Verified"
If you don't receive the 6-digit code via text message, tap or click 'Resend.' If you don’t receive a code after 3 tries, please contact us.
You can always set up 2FA with a verified email address as well. Please note: we only require one piece of verified contact info to set up 2FA.
