Please note that your bank’s listed name may vary from what you are entering into the search field.
To manually add your account by using your routing number and account number, simply log in to your account and complete the following steps:
Within the Acorns App:
- Tap the menu (avatar) in the upper left corner of the screen
- Tap "Settings"
- Tap "Linked Accounts" and tap "Change primary account"
- In the search bar type "123" and tap "Don't see your bank? Link with routing & account number instead"
- Enter your bank Routing Number and Account Number and tap "Link Account"
On Acorns.com:
- Click on the menu (avatar) in the upper right corner of the screen
- Click on "Profile & Settings"
- Click on "Linked Accounts"
- Click on "Change primary" and click on "Link Manually"
- Enter your bank Routing Number and Account Number and click on "Link Account"
In the event that your bank is not currently available, you can also contribute to your Acorns Invest account by making a one-time investment or by setting up a recurring investment.
To make a one-time investment*, simply log in to your account and complete the following steps:
- Tap or click on "Invest"
- Tap or click on "One-Time"
- Enter in the amount you would like to invest, and tap or click on "Review" at the bottom of the screen
- Follow the prompts to confirm your selection
To set up a Recurring Investment*, simply log in to your account and complete the following steps:
- Tap or click on "Invest"
- Tap "Recurring" or click on "Recurring Investment"
- Select an amount and frequency for your new investment
- Tap "Save" or click on "Update"
*Please allow 1-3 business days for this investment to process. Subsequent recurring investments will take place according to the chosen frequency.
