How do I know if I have Round-Ups® available to invest?

Automatic Round-Ups® will display an Acorns logo next to them once they have been invested. However, Round-Ups® that have not yet been invested will display a green plus sign (+) next to the transaction.  Clicking on this + sign will allow you to add up your Round-Ups® and invest them once the $5 threshold is met.

In order to check for available Round-Ups®, please follow the steps below:

  1. Log in to your Acorns account and select "Invest"
  2. Click on "Round-Ups®"
  3. Here, you will see a section titled "Waiting to be invested"
    • This section will display a progress bar that shows you how close you are to reaching the $5 Round-Ups® threshold
    • Once it reaches at least $5, the funds will be pulled from your bank account and invested into your Acorns Invest account
  4. Below that, you will find a list of your Round-Ups® transactions. This is where you can click on the + sign to invest your available Round-Ups®.

Round-Ups® Investment Status

Acorns will display a specific symbol next to your Round-Ups® to show its current investment status. Below, you can find a breakdown of what each symbol means:

An Acorns logo = that Round-Ups® transaction has already been invested

A Checkmark = that Round-Ups® transaction is currently pending and will be invested once the $5 threshold is reached

A Plus Sign (+) = that Round-Ups® transaction has not yet been invested. Clicking the green + sign will allow you to manually add your Round-Ups® and invest them once they reach at least $5.

Please note that if you do not maintain enough funds in your primary checking account to sufficiently cover your Round-Ups® investments, you could incur overdraft fees with your financial institution.
