Acorns Later has 3 different types of IRA plans: traditional, Roth, and SEP. Each of these plans can have different rules — there may be eligibility requirements, contribution limits, and even income limits, not to mention potential penalties from the IRS if you start withdrawing too soon.

To make it easy for you, we automatically select the right type of IRA for you, based on your answers to a handful of questions about things like your age, goals, and yearly income. You may not be eligible for another type of IRA plan, depending on its rules and requirements.

But if you'd still like to discuss changing your IRA type, please contact us.
