I ordered a replacement Acorns Visa™ debit card. How do I set up the replacement digital card?

You'll get a new card number when you order a replacement. When this happens, you simply need to add your new debit card to your digital wallet.

 

To add your replacement debit card to your digital wallet:

  1. On your mobile device, tap "Checking" on the home screen
  2. Tap the gear icon at the top right corner
  3. Tap "Replace card", enter the reason on the next screen, and follow instructions to replace the card
  4. Once your new card is processing, you'll see "Add to Apple Wallet" or "Add to Google Pay" and can add your card to your digital wallet
  5. A pop-up to add your card with your name and card number should automatically open.
  6. From there, how the card is added depends on your digital wallet type
    • For example, for Apple Wallet customers, tap "Next" at the top right corner and follow the instructions
  7. Once complete, you'll see a pop-up in your Acorns app that says the card was successfully added

 

Note that at this time, you can only set up your digital debit card in Apple Wallet through the Acorns app. Google Pay will be coming soon!
