How do I add money to my child’s Acorns Early account?

There are a few easy ways to add money to your child’s Acorns Early account. 

First thing’s first–make sure you have sufficient funds in your “Parent wallet” or set up “Auto funding.” Then, follow the path below that’s right for you.

To make a one-time contribution to a child’s Acorns Early account:

1. Open your Acorns Early account
2. Tap “Transfer” from the home screen
3. Select an amount to transfer from your “Parent wallet”
4. Tap “Transfer”

Set up a recurring transfer to a child’s Acorns Early Card account:

1. Open your Acorns Early Card account
2. Tap “Money” from the bottom navigation
3. Tap “Allowance” 
4. Follow the steps to set up a recurring allowance

Reward a child for completed tasks:

1. Open your Acorns Early account
2. Tap “Money” from the bottom navigation
3. Select “Tasks”
4. Select “Add a task”
5. Follow the steps to customize tasks and amounts per task

Invite family and friends to contribute to an Acorns Early account:

1. Open your Acorns Early account
2. Tap “Money” from the bottom navigation
3. Scroll down and select “Giftlinks”
4. Follow the steps to share a giftlink with family & friends
