To complete the transfer, the custodian and beneficiary for your new account must be the same as your Early Invest account.

Please keep in mind that Acorns Securities, LLC can only transfer cash when processing an Acorns Early Invest transfer, as stated in Schedule 1 of our "Program Agreement": https://www.acorns.com/program-agreement.

How to Start:

To start the process, please contact the firm you are transferring the money to to initiate the paperwork. Once complete, this paperwork can be sent via email to help@acornssecurities.com or faxed to (949) 209-5813.

Your Request:

Once your asset transfer request has been received and reviewed (typically within 5-7 business days after we've received the request), a member of our team will send you an email detailing the request. You must reply to this email confirming the asset transfer. We cannot move forward with your asset transfer request until you confirm it by replying to the email you receive.

Confirmation:

After you've confirmed the asset transfer for your Early Invest account, we can get started on transferring the funds to the receiving firm.

This process involves liquidating your Early Invest account and sending the funds through a wire transfer to the receiving firm. If the funds from your Early Invest account are less than $100 or the receiving firm does not accept wires, we will send a check instead. As set forth in the Program Agreement, a fee may be applied for wire transfers. Any dividends received after your asset transfer is executed will be liquidated back to your primary funding source on file.
