What is a Trusted Contact?

As part of a FINRA regulatory requirement, we offer customers a way to share Trusted Contact details with us in the event that:

  1. There is potential for financial exploitation.
  2. The primary account holder is unreachable. 

A Trusted Contact is someone 18+ or older, who you authorize Acorns to contact in limited circumstances if there is reasonable belief that your account may be exposed to possible financial exploitation. For additional information, please see our disclosure
