Adding a Trusted Contact or editing an existing one is easy! You can add a different Trusted Contact for each of your Invest, Later, and Early accounts, or you can add the same Trusted Contact for all three accounts. Each investment account may have only one Trusted Contact. You're not required to add a Trusted Contact to any account.
You can't set up a Trusted Contact for Acorns Checking accounts. A Trusted Contact is also different from your Gold plan benefits, such as estate planning through Trust & Will. If you do set up a will or trust, you'll nominate an executor or trustee through a separate process. For more information, check out Trust & Will's FAQs.
To add a Trusted Contact, please take the following steps:
- Log into your account
- Tap on the menu icon at the top left
- Tap on "Settings"
- Tap on "Personal Info"
- Tap “Add Trusted Contact”
- Fill out your Trusted Contact's information
To edit an existing Trusted Contact, please take the following steps:
- Log into your account
- Tap on the menu icon at the top left
- Tap on "Settings"
- Tap on "Personal Info"
- Tap “Add New Contact”
- Edit or Remove Contact
