Our Acorns Checking account and Emergency Fund account are structured to accumulate interest on a daily basis. However, it is important to note that this accrued interest is disbursed on a monthly schedule, with the payout occurring on the last day of the month. These funds are directed to the respective account that is generating the Annual Percentage Yield (APY).

For your convenience and transparency, you can easily track the interest you have earned by referencing the 'Recent Activity' ledger associated with each of your accounts.

To access Recent Activity, go into the specific account and simply tap “View all” on the Recent Activity card. You’ll see a list of past and pending transfers for each account as well as their balance breakdown.

1. Log in to your account

2. Tap or click on “Checking”

3. Scroll down slightly

4. Tap or click “Recent Activity”

For a comprehensive overview and record-keeping purposes, detailed information on your interest earnings can also be found in your monthly statements, accessible within your app settings under the section labeled 'Documents and Statements.'

See our FAQ on how to access your statement for more information.
