What happens if I am an existing GoHenry customer?

If you already have a GoHenry account and have signed up for an Acorns Premium account, the email on your GoHenry account needs to be the same email you use for Acorns. Go to Family Settings in your GoHenry app to check your email and update it if needed. You can find the email you use for your Acorns account in the Acorns app by going to Settings -> Personal Info.

We’ll automatically check with Acorns to verify your eligibility for this benefit and send you an email to confirm. If there has been a problem verifying your eligibility for this benefit with Acorns, we’ll send you an email to let you know how to correct it. You should receive an email within a day of signing-up or upgrading to Acorns Premium.

Note that until you’ve received an email from GoHenry confirming that we’ve been able to successfully verify your eligibility for this benefit, you’ll continue to be billed your monthly GoHenry membership fee for your family.

Important: Make sure the email address you use for your GoHenry account is identical to the one on your Acorns Premium account! 

  • If the email address is different, the easiest way to change this is by opening the GoHenry mobile app and going to Family Settings -> Email and updating your GoHenry email address to the same one you use on your Acorns account. You can find the email you use for your Acorns account in the Acorns app by going to Settings -> Personal Info.
