Receiving an unexpected code could be a sign of a compromised email and password combination. We recommend using a new 8-15 character password that has not been used before.

From your Acorns App:

Tap the menu (avatar) in the upper corner of the screen

Tap "Settings"

Select "Change Password" and follow the prompts
From Acorns.com:

Click on "Profile & Settings" in the bottom corner of the screen

Click on "Change Password"

Follow the prompts to finalize your changes
