ESG stands for environmental, social, and governance.

ESG portfolios are made of exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that focus on environmental, social, and governance business practices and have a high Morgan Stanley Corporate International (MSCI) ESG rating.

MSCI ESG ratings measure a company's long-term commitment to socially responsible investments (SRI) and environmental, social, and governance (ESG) investment standards.

Acorns has created four ESG portfolios to allow you to invest in companies that are making an impact in one or more of these areas.

Here’s a video that shows what you’re investing in with your Acorns portfolio.
