Two-Factor Authentication via SMS is not possible with landlines since they cannot receive text messages. The phone number must be attached to an SMS-enabled device. However, you can set up two-factor authentication for email instead.
Please follow the steps below to set up Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) for email:
-
After logging in to your account, select the menu (avatar) in the upper corner of the screen
-
Select 'Settings' or 'Profile & Settings', then select 'Personal Info'
-
Under Contact Info, you should notice an "unverified" alert next to the email, click on the alert
-
Confirm the contact details are correct
-
You will then be prompted to select the 'Next' button to enter the verification process
-
2FA will send a 6-digit code to your email address. Once you receive the code, enter the code in the empty field
-
Two-Factor Authentication verification is now complete! The alert next to contact info should now be verified
