Yes, you can send a check using our Send Check feature!
Our Send Check feature allows you to send a physical check to any person in the US. . Checks are sent through the USPS and can take 10-14 business days to be delivered.
Checks sent to Alaska or Hawaii may take a little bit longer to arrive.
To send a check, you can follow these steps:
Acorns App:
- Log in to Acorns and tap "Checking"
- Tap "Checks"
- Tap "Send check"
- Tap "Get started"
- Enter the amount of the check and tap "Next"
- Tap "Add Recipient"
- Choose Individual or Business, enter the required information and tap "Confirm"
- Tap "Send Check" in the green bubble at the bottom of the screen
Acorns.com:
- Log in to Acorns and click "Checking"
- Click on "Send Check"
- Click on "Get started"
- Enter the amount of the check
- Click on "Add Recipient"
- Choose Individual or Business, enter the required information and click on "Confirm"
- Click on "Send Check" in the green bubble at the bottom of the screen
Acorns does not currently provide physical checks or checkbooks for Acorns Checking accounts. Additionally, ordering a checkbook using your Acorns account & routing number will not work.
