Why is there a processing fee for Early Gifts?

At checkout, an Early Gift giver will see the processing fee before they confirm payment. When the Early Gift giver uses their debit card, the card processor charges Acorns certain fees. Acorns will use the processing fee to cover the cost issued by the card processor.
