How do I link my checking account if it says "Account is already linked?"

Here's what to do if you're having trouble linking your checking account:

 

From your Acorns app:

  1. After logging in to your account, tap the profile icon in the upper left corner of the screen
  2. Tap "Settings"
  3. Tap "Linked Accounts"
  4. Tap the "..." in the upper right-hand corner and tap "Change primary account"
  5. Type "123" in the search bar and tap "Don't see your bank?"
  6. Enter your routing number and account number and tap "Link Account"

From acorns.com:

  1. After logging in to your account, click on "Profile & Settings" in the bottom left corner of the screen
  2. Under "Personal Settings," click "Linked Accounts"
  3. Click "Change primary"
  4. Click "Link Manually"
  5. Enter your routing number and account number and click "Link Account"
