First, confirm which accounts are linked to your Acorns account. You can find this under “Settings,” then “Linked Accounts”.
If your account is already linked, you should see it. If you don’t see it, or you want to update it, try the steps below.
From your Acorns app:
- Log into your Acorns account
- Tap the profile icon in the upper left corner of the screen
- Tap "Settings"
- Tap "Linked Accounts"
- Tap the "..." in the upper right-hand corner and tap "Change primary account"
- Type "123" in the search bar
- Tap "Don't see your bank?"
- Enter your routing number and account number
- Tap "Link Account"
From acorns.com:
- Log into your Acorns account
- Click on "Profile & Settings" in the bottom left corner of the screen
- Under "Personal Settings," click "Linked Accounts"
- Click "Change primary"
- Click "Link Manually"
- Enter your routing number and account number and click "Link Account"
